Shirley Siegel joined the SCS Board of Directors in 2014. Shirley is a Senior Executive with over 3 decades of experience in human resource (HR) management, policy development and program delivery in both the Canadian public service (e.g., the Department of National Defence, Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the Treasury Board Secretariat) and in international multi-lateral organizations (e.g., International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C., United Nations Secretariat in NYC).
Throughout her career, Shirley has led numerous high profile public sector transformation/renewal initiatives. In recent years, her consulting work has involved a wide variety of assignments including conduct of organizational reviews of government institutions, provision of ethics advice and leadership development materials for international agencies and as an executive coach.
As a volunteer, Shirley has worked in palliative care and as a Board Member within the social housing sector.
