Partners in Parenting After School Program

Hello Parents, Caregivers, Staff, Teachers and Service Providers,

Fall has arrived…and with it a new program from Partners in Parenting!

Please note that Day Services will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE!

This will include a tour/info session on our programs currently operating out of our new location: ACE, LIFE and ESP.

Location: 2405 St. Laurent Blvd. Unit S.
Date: Monday, October 30, 2017
Time: 10-1PM

We are pleased to announce that our After Care Program will commence daily (M-F) beginning Monday, October 23rd from 3-5:30 PM.

This program is designed for youth (16 plus) / adults with Developmental Disabilities and will be located in the same building.

The daily cost for current Partners in Parenting Day Service participants is $30.

All other community/school participants is $35.

Girls on the Spectrum Drop-in

New Program! Girls in the Spectrum Ottawa Drop-in

Name: Girls on the Spectrum Ottawa Drop-in

Location: Orleans United Church, 1111 Orleans Blvd, Orleans, Lounge Room

Date: Sunday’s starting October 15th from 1-3 p.m.

Description: A space for girls of all ages on the Autism Spectrum and their parents to come and socialize and have fun in a safe environment.

– Activities and socialization for girls
– Peer support for parents
– Sharing of resources
– Guest speakers
– Snacks

Please note – this is a not for profit program and is not a clinical type program. Organizers are parents of girls with Autism and parents are expected to attend with their daughters.

Cost: $5 drop in fee (per child), or pay what you can to cover costs of activity materials and coffee, tea, juice and snacks

Youth Program – OCCCRC

• YOUTH WALK-IN: TUESDAYS FROM 4PM TO 7PM
The Youth walk-in is a unique space for youth aged 14-18 to come in without an appointment to talk one-on-one with a Youth Worker about their needs and access or be referred to a variety of resources.

• YOUTH SPACE: THURSDAYS FROM 4PM TO 7PM- MIXED, GIRLS AND LGBTQ2+ NIGHTS
Youth Space is a place where youth aged 14-18 can come to meet other youth in their community, share experiences, have fun, go on outings, discuss about their needs, gain access to a variety of resources and be referred to other services that can meet their needs.
